郡王赵桭因求自保，将无辜的宣家灭门。幼小的宣赞侥幸存活。十五 年后宣赞进入 宫中校卫队，趁赵桭之女赵茹被掠走之际救出赵茹得到郡马之位并以此接近赵桭。可赵振对宣赞处处提防。在一次次刺杀失败后，宣赞最终在梁山好汉的协助下杀了赵桭为宣家复仇。宣赞也因此破毁容，故诨号“丑郡马”。。John Kent (Randolph Scott), a former star football player at Harvard, goes to Paris with his friend Huck Haines (Fred Astaire) and the latter's dance band, the Wabash Indianians.
