《曾根崎心中》（1703）是净琉璃史上第一部现实剧（世话物），也是日本最早的社会故事剧，引起了很大轰动。这第一部净琉璃中的现代情死剧，它所反映的不仅是当时的一种社会悲剧，而且还有新兴町人阶级的道德观和日本的传统文化观念。《曾根崎心中》改编自元禄16年（1703年）旧历四月七日早上，大阪堂岛新地天满屋的游女初（はつ）（21岁）与内本町酱油商平野屋的店员德兵卫（徳兵卫）（25岁）在梅田曾根崎的露天神森林中殉情一事。。10 long years have gone by since the mysterious passing of college students Greg Sanders and Brian Mills. Greg's older brother decides to take matters into his own hands and find out what really happened on the now internet famous video. However, it seems that history may end up repeating itself and remain unexplained forever.。
