本作的舞台是架空都市甘城市，其中一座即将倒闭的主题公园“甘城光辉游乐园”。故事主要描写主角——自恋的高中生可儿江西也拯救游乐园、与吉祥物打闹的日常生活。。农民满意看着村里那些富起来的光棍汉都娶上了媳妇，为了脸面，他借钱经川嫂介绍也买了个媳妇，殊不知，买回的这个“媳妇”，却是个哑女且已经有了孩子，在文明与愚昧的冲突之中，人性复苏的力量在满意身上起到了巨大的作用，他的善良感动了哑女，一次意外满意将哑女送到了县医院，哑女趁机在病床的枕头上写了求救信息，满意在之前不知哑女是被拐卖的，最后哑女得救力量，满意也因不懂法得到了法律的制裁，而得救的哑女却得到一个出人意料的结果。。Answering Fire - In a suspected terrorist attack on a London hotel a government minister is killed.
