清朝末年，内务府继大人（雷格生饰）之子福琪（李成儒饰）看上了街头卖艺的少女奎俊（刘敏涛饰），奎俊不从，福琪便设计陷害。大太监吴德贵（马恩然饰）得知后从中弄权，将奎俊抢占为妻。奎俊爱慕来京逃难的冯青山（于震饰），而冯青山则在无意中陷入了一场王家贵族之间的纷争。而一副古画和一个翡翠蝈蝈的出现，更使故事陷入了重重危机……。In 2020, five members of the paranormal web series ‘There’s Something In The Shadows’ went off into the wilds of Scotland to try and prove the existence of a paranormal portal.
