A 12-year-old Kansas orphan turns to the Scarecrow and the Tin Woodman for help during a difficult time. She imagines that things have not gone well in Oz since the Wizard left and that the Scarecrow and the Tin Woodman must travel to Kansas to find Dorothy.。一只年轻活泼的雪怪米果，发现了他们以为只存在于故事中的“小脚怪”——人类，告之族人后，却因不能自证言论被赶出村庄。为了证明自己，米果来到人类世界抓了一只“小脚怪”，带回村庄。关于这只“小脚怪”的消息迅速传播开来，同时，这也让原本单纯的雪怪们陷入了骚动之中。他们开始好奇在这雪村之外存在着一个怎样的世界，一场关于友情、勇气与探索的冒险故事即将开始……。
